NOTES: Near McGaheysville, the Massanutten ski area has 14 trails for snowboarding.
To reach the ski area from Washington/Baltimore, follow the Beltway to I-66 west to Rt. 29 south to Rt. 33 west at Ruckersville, past Elkton 6 miles to Rt. 644 (Resort Drive). Turn right and proceed to resort facilities. Or, Beltway & I-66 west to I-81south to Harrisonburg exit 247A. Follow Rt. 33 east, 10 miles to Rt. 644 (Resort Drive). Turn left and proceed to resort facilities.
