| TITLE: Brian Head Resort |
 |
NOTES: Northeast of Las Vegas in southern Utah, the Brian Head Ski Area has 53 runs open to snowboarding spread over 530 acres. The base elevation is Utahs highest at 9,600 feet and the summit is at 11,300. It averages 450 of light powder annually.
It is known for its friendly staff (along with the locals) and for well-groomed intermediate family oriented runs. But, out of bounds, there are plenty of heart pounding steeps and narrow chutes to challenge all riders. Hike the Brian Head peak or the OB backside.
For apres ski, try Pinnacle Breaks Club.
Its a 3.5 hour drive northeast from Vegas. Follow US15 to Exit 75 (Parowan). Then continue 14 miles southeast to Brian Head.
