NOTES: North of Durango, the Durango ski area on Purgatory Mountain has 75 trails open to snowboarding over 1200 acres with a maximum vertical rise of 2000.
Pitchfork Terrain Park, Limbo Slopestyle Park, and Snag Feature Trail are all part of our boarder-friendly atmosphere. Pitchfork features a half-pipe over 400 feet long, hips, and a variety of rails. Limbo boasts table tops, rails, six big hits, and two large gaps. Snag is our natural park, with trees, hills, headwalls, and moguls.
For apres ski, try Shakers or the Olde Schoolhouse cafe.
The Durango Mountain Resort is located 25 miles north of Durango on US550.
