NOTES: Near Wausau, the Granite Peak Ski Area (aka Rib Mountain) has 72 trails over 265 acres with a maximum vertical of 700 feet.
To reach the snowboarding at Granite Peak Ski Area from the intersection of SR 29 and I-39 in Wausau, go south on I-39 for 2 miles. Go west on North Mountain Rd. and travel just over 1 mile to the ski area entrance on the left.
