Northeast of Logan and west of Garden City, the Beaver Mountain ski area has 26 runs spread over 450 acres that are served by 4 lifts with a maximum descent of 1,370 feet. The ski area is spread across two peaks. For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, there is a terrain park to session. The best of Beaver Mountain snowboarding is typically found annually during the months of January and February.
To reach the snowboarding at Beaver Mountain from Salt Lake City, head north on US15 to Brigham City. Exit to US89 heading northeast through Logan. About 27 miles east of Logan, look for the turn off to SR243 on the north side leading to Beaver Mountain ski area. There is very limited base area facilities and no lodging.
