North of Peninsula, the Boston Mills & Brandywine Ski Areas have 18 runs served by 16 lifts accessing a maximum vertical descent of 260 feet. These runs are spread across two mountains that are about 3 miles apart and have an average annual snowfall of 75 inches. Advanced snowboarders can find plenty of excitement on six different slopes, including mogul-filled runs and the steepest ski slope in Ohio. These advanced slopes are served by four quads, two triples and one double. Both mountains are fully light for night snowboarding.
If you are looking for apres ski action, the best bet is the Lost And Found Bar at Brandywine and Joe Rider Bar at Boston Mills.
To reach the ski area from the south, follow US77 north to Route 21 north exit. Follow Rt 21 to Snowville Road; turn right onto Snowville Road. When Snowville dead ends into Riverview Road, turn right. Boston Mills will be approximately 2 miles down Riverview, on the right. The closest airports are either Cleveland Hopkins International Airport or Akron-Canton Airport.
