Southeast of Portland and east of Government Camp, the Mount Hood Ski Bowl has 65 runs open to snowboarders with a 1500 feet vertical. There are more than 300 acres of steep bowls, gnarly chutes, and open glades in the outback.

For apres ski action, head to the Alpen Stube in the South Lodge or Charlie's in Government Camp. For nightlife, you ll have to head to River City Saloon in Hood River.

The ski area is in the town of Government Camp.

Overall, Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is the 5th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 11 snowboarding resorts in Oregon. Several of the better snowboarding resorts are nearby Mt. Hood Ski Bowl including Timberline Lodge and Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort.
