Northwest of Concord near Newbury, the Mount Sunapee Ski Area has 60 runs over 220 acres served by 6 lifts that accesses a maximum vertical descent of 1,500 feet. At this family-friendly resort, the runs have a level of difficulty ranging from 25% easy to 50% intermediate to 25% difficult.

For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, Mount Sunapee has a terrain park with rails, tabletops and boxes. There is also a 475 foot long superpipe and two quarter-pipes.

After a long day of snowboarding at Mount Sunapee, you can check out apres ski at Goose Feathers Pub at the Spruce Lodge. If you are looking for some nightlife, check out One Mile West for margaritas.

To reach Mount Sunapee Ski Area from Concord, head north on US89 to Exit #9. Head west on SR103 for 16.5 miles to the intersection with Edgemont Road. Turn left heading southwest into the Mount Sunapee Ski Area complex. Continue on this access road for 0.8 miles into the ski area parking lot. The nearest airports are in Manchester and Boston.
