To reach the snowboarding at Snowshoe Mountain Resort from Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Norfolk and Richmond, head west on US64 to US81 North to Staunton, VA. Then continue west on US250 and then south on SR42 to Goshen, VA. Continue west on SR39 to Marlinton, WV, and then 26 miles north on US219 to Snowshoe.
