Southeast of Wilkes-Barre and south of Scranton, the Jack Frost ski area has 14 runs served by 6 lifts with a maximum vertical descent of 600 feet. The Jack Frost Ski Area is part of the combined, but not connected Jack Frost Big Boulder Resort. The best Jack Frost Ski Area snowboarding is usually found during the months from late-January to mid-February.

To reach the snowboarding at Jack Frost Ski Area from US476, use Exit #95. Head east on SR940 for 4 miles to the entrance on the left.
