The Wintergreen ski area has 17 runs open to snowboarding with a maximum vertical of 1000.

To reach the ski area from the east and northeast, follow SR29 south to I-64 west to Exit 107 (Crozet, Route 250). Take Route 250 west 5 miles to Route 151 south, turn left. Follow Route 151 south 14 miles to Route 664. Turn right and Wintergreen is 4 miles ahead on Route 664.
