Northeast of Jackson, the Black Mountain is New Hampshire's oldest ski area with 40 runs over 143 boardable acres and a max vertical drop of 1,100 feet. The runs are served by 4 lifts. Check out the new glades and the T2 chute.

For apres ski, check out the Lostbo Pub. For nightlife, try the Wildcat Tavern in Jackson.

To reach the snowboarding at ski area from Boston, head north on US95 to the Spaulding Turnpike (SR16). Head north on SR16 through Conway into Jackson. Turn on SR16B through Jackson and follow signs northeast to Black Mountain Ski Area.

Overall, Black Mountain Ski Area is the 13th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 19 snowboarding resorts in New Hampshire.
