Northeast of Santa Fe in the town of Red River, the Red River Ski Area has 57 runs spread across 257 boardable acres with a maximum veritical of 1,600 feet. The summit elevation is 10,300 feet. There are about a dozen black diamond runs perfect for snowboarding; one of the most popular is the Cat Skinner from the top of the new Platinum triple down through the trees on the west side.
