Northeast of Truckee near Donner Summit, the Tahoe Donner ski area has 14 runs spread over 120 boardable acres with a max verical of 600 feet.

To reach the snowboarding at Tahoe Donner Ski Area from US80, take the Donner State Park Exit. Travel east one-half mile to stoplight. Turn north onto Northwoods Boulevard. Follow signs to Ski Area, approximately 5 miles (turn right on Fjord, left on Alder Creek).

Overall, Tahoe Donner Ski Area is the 18th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 19 snowboarding resorts in California.
