Northeast of Santa Fe, the Ski Santa Fe area has 660 acres of boarding terrain with a verticle drop of 1,700 feet.
On a pow day, try snowboarding North and South Burn or the Cornice from the summit. For some excellent riding, try the Wizard and traverse to the steep fall line below the Big Rocks and head into the glades.
For a good apres ski, head back to Santa Fe to the Dragon Room Bar. For some nightlife, check out the Cowgirl Hall Of Fame Tavern.
To reach the snowboarding at Ski Santa Fe from downtown Santa Fe, head north on Washington Avenue to the Artists Road intersection. Turn right, drive 16 miles up Hyde Park Road to the end.
