West of Manchester and east of Bennington, the Crotched Mountain Ski Area has 25 runs spread over 100 acres served by 5 lifts that provide access to a maximum descent 1,000 feet. The best Crotched Mountain snowboarding can be found during the months of January and February.

Try hiking to the true summit, which is about 200 feet higher off the Summit lift. There are three unmarked but inbounds trails. For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, there is a terrain park with three lines from beginner to advanced.

After a long day of snowboarding at Crotched Mountain, the best bet for apres ski action is at the Onset Pub.
