Northwest of Concord near Enfield, the Whaleback Ski Area has 30 runs served by one lift accessing a maximum vertical descent of 700 feet. While there are some glades to explore, there are also 2 terrain parks to session for the freestyle snowboarders in your crew. Known as a small family-friendly ski area, the best Whaleback Mountain snowboarding can be found during the months of January and February.
To reach the snowboarding at Whaleback Ski Area from Concord, head north on US89 to Exit #16. The ski area is located just south of the exit at 160 Whaleback Mountain Road in Enfield. The nearest lodging to the ski area can be found in Lebanon, which is just to the northwest.
