Southwest of Buenos Aires and San Carlos de Bariloche, the Cerro Catedral ski area has 53 runs totalling 120km served by 38 lifts with a maximum descent of 1000m. Spread over 600 hectares, the ski area has lifts reaching up to a maximum altitude of 2000 meters. There are over 20 mountain huts spread across the slopes that serve up many local dishes.
For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, Cerro Catedral ski area has several terrain park zones. These zones are located off the Piedra del Condor summit station.The main snowpark has rails, ramps and boxes.

To reach the snowboarding at Cerro Catedral Resort from Bariloche, follow Avenue Bustillo to kilometer No 8 which is the Catedral intersection. Then, turn left into the paved road to the ski resort access. There are free parking spaces for 960 vehicles. There is also a regular bus service every 30 minutes. You can also go up by taxi or on a tourist excursion transfer vehicle. To reach San Carlos de Bariloche by air, there are daily flights from Buenos Aires (1,600km).
Tip: While there are a few hotels at the Cerro Catedral Resort, it is possible to stay at in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. The city center is only 19km away from the ski area.
