Cerro Catedral Ski Area Snowboarding

Southwest of Buenos Aires and San Carlos de Bariloche, the Cerro Catedral ski area has 53 runs totalling 120km that spread over 600 skiable hectares served by 38 lifts. These runs reach a maximum altitude of 2,000 meters. There are over 20 mountain huts spread across the slopes that serve up many local dishes.
In addition to the groomed pistes, there is also a snowpark with rails, ramps and boxes.
To reach the snowboarding at Cerro Catedral Resort from Bariloche, along Av. Bustillo to kilometer No. 8 (Catedral intersection). Then, turn left into the paved road till you reach the ski resort access, with its free parking space for 960 vehicles. There is also a regular bus service every 30 minutes. You can also go up by taxi or on a tourist excursion transfer vehicle.
Tip: While there are a few hotels at the Cerro Catedral Resort, it is possible to stay at in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, which is 30km away.
