Saddleback Ski Area Snowboarding

The MOST popular snowboarding destination in Maine.

East of Rangeley, the Saddleback Ski Area has 66 trails and glades served by 5 lifts spread over 220 acres with a maximum vertical drop of 2,000 feet. The newer Casablanca glades spread over 60 acres that are perfect for snowboading. Also, if you are looking for some challenge, try the Kennebago Steeps.

If you are looking for some apres ski, try Sarges or the Swig-and-Smelt. For nightlife, heading into Rangeley and check out the Sunset Grille Pub.

To reach the snowboarding at Saddleback ski area from the south, head north on US95 to Exit #75 (Auburn). Head north on SR4 through Farmington to Rangeley. Saddleback Ski Area is located at 976 Saddleback Mountain Road in Rangeley, Maine. Just east of the Town of Rangeley, take the Dallas Hill Road (at the IGA grocery store) and follow signs to Saddleback.

Tip: Try staying on the mountain to get a first tracks pass.
