Northeast of Ljubljana and south of Graz, the Rogla Ski Area has 19 pistes served by 7 lifts with a maximum descent of 400m. Known as an easy family-oriented resort, it has mainly beginner and intermediate pistes served by long drag lifts. The best Rongla snowboarding can be found during the months of January and February.
For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, the Rogla Ski Resort has a terrain park called the Fun Park. It has a fifteen slope-style features, kickers and big-air jumps along with a half-pipe. The Rogla terrain park is located on the left side of the Masin Zaga piste.
The Rogla Ski Area is accessed by car via the E59 highway. Use the exit for Slov. Konjice and flow the signs for Rogla Ski Area.
To reach Rogla by train, use the train to Poljcane (from Maribor) or to to Celje (from Ljubljana). There are buses from either to Zrece and to Rogla
Overall, Rogla Ski Area is the 4th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 7 snowboarding resorts in Slovenia.
