Southeast of Nelson in the Selkirk Mountains, the Whitewater Ski Resort has 52 runs served by 4 lifts accessing a maximum vertical drop of 2,044 feet. The runs are spread across three distinct areas including the new Glory Ridge, the older Summit area and the Silver King area.

At Whitewater Ski Resort, make sure to check out the newer triple chair, Glory Ridge Lift, that adds an additional 700 feet of vertical to the resort and provides access to the Backside backcountry gladed paradise known for its steeps.

To reach the snowboarding at Whitewater Ski Resort from Nelson, head south on Highway 6 towards Salmo for 12km. Turn left on signed access road for 6km to parking area.
