Hochfugen Snowboarding

The 34th most popular snowboarding destination in Austria.

South of Jenbach and west of Kaltenbach, the Hochfugen ski area has 37 lifts providing access to 171km of pistes. The ski area elevation ranges from 1,500m to 2,500m.

The Hochfugen ski area is known for its off-piste freeride snowboarding zones. These zones provide a challenging experience for experts or those with guides. They have dedicated maps focusing on the zones, which include Kuchl, Marchkopf, Nase, Ostwand, and Vordere Pfuns.

To reach the snowboarding at Hochfugen, take the train from Innsbruck or Munich to Jenbach. Then, transfer to the Zillertalbahn to head up the valley to Kaltenbach.

Overall, Hochfugen is the 34th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 52 snowboarding resorts in Austria.
