Southeast of Lienz and northwest of Klogenfurt in the Carinthian Nockberge Mountains, the Bad Kleinkirchheim has 35 pistes served by 25 lifts accessing a maximum vertical drop of 955m. This family-friendly ski area has many tree-lined runs that are popular with intermediate snowboarders.
The Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area is not really known for it's expert terrain. If you area looking for some challenge, you'll want to hire a guide to head for some off-piste freeriding from St Oswald or on Falkert.
After a morning of snowboarding, try checking out the lunch at the Maibrunhutte.
