Southeast of Zurich and west of Chur, the Skigebiet Brigels-Waltensburg-Andiast ski area has 20 pistes served by four lifts accessing a maximum vertical descent of 1,200m.
The Brigels-Waltensburg-Andiast ski area is located west of the town of Ilanz. It is situated above Ilanz and accessed by bus. There is a base area above Waltensburg and also just east of Briel-Brigels.
After a long morning of snowboarding at Skigebiet Brigels, try a long lunch at Bergrestaurant Alp Dado or Bergrestaurant Curtignet.
For some apres ski action, try the Schneebar Alp Dado Sura or Lichtblick-Bar.
Tip - If you are planning to snowboard the Brigels area for a week, you may want the Surselva Safari ski pass which also allows snowboarding at Obersaxen-Mundaun located to the west across the valley. There is a free ski bus from Ilianz to Waltenburg and to Brigels.
