To reach the Braunwald snowboarding by train, there is an hourly direct train from Zurich to the nearby Linthal Braunwaldbahn station. From the train station, there is a funicular railway up to the Braunwald mid-station.
PRO TIP: After a long morning of snowboarding at Brauwald, stop by one of the on-mountain restaurants. The best are Berggasthaus Gumen and Berggasthaus Ortstockhaus.
