Cranor Ski Hill Snowboarding

The 26th most popular snowboarding destination in Colorado.

Just north of Gunnison, the Cranor Ski Hill has 4 beginner runs served by one Poma platter lift with a maximum vertical descent of 400 feet.

The Cranor Ski Hill is operated by the City of Gunnison and openings are snow dependent since there is no snow making capabilities. Typically, it is only open Friday through Sunday except for holidays.

To reach Cranor Ski Hill from downtown Gunnison, head north on SR135 for 3 miles. Turn right heading east on CR10 for 2 miles. The Cranor Ski Hill is on the left.

Note: If you are interested in snowboarding at Cranor Ski Hill, make sure to call before heading out since it had been closed from lack of snow the past few seasons. It was open for the winter 2013/2014 season.
