East of Salt Lake City, the Park City Mountain resort is the largest ski area in North America. The new Park City Mountain is the combination of the old Canyons Resort with the Park City Mountain Resort, which were interconnected by a new gondola.

Located in the eastern Swiss canton of Graubuenden (aka Grisons), the Davos Klosters ski region consists of six ski areas in the Rhaetian Alps spread along the Landwasser valley.
