Southeast of Lienz and southwest of Villach, the Nassfeld-Pressegger See ski area offers a range of snowboarding runs along the Austria-Italy border. It has 30 lifts serving 110km of pistes with a maximum vertical descent of 1,300m. The region is known for its off-piste freeriding lines and open forest policy. The Millenium lift out of Troplach provides convenient access to the main Sonnenalpe Nassfeld base area. There are over 25 mountain huts to enjoy for lunch and apres ski.

Overall, Nassfeld-Pressegger See is the 65th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 67 snowboarding resorts in Austria.
