South of Bern and and southwest of Interlaken, the Engstligenalp has 10 pistes served by 7 lifts accessing a maximum descent of 400m. The Engstligenalp ski area is well known for it good off-piste lines. Keep in mind that a cable car is required from the base area to access the pistes, which area all above the mid-station. There are no pistes leading from the mid-station down to the base area.

The Engstligenalp ski area interconnects with the Adelboden-Lenk ski region via free ski bus into the village of Adelboden. The ski pass is valid for the entire ski region.

TIP - In addition to Adelboden, there is another ski area to the north called Elsigen-Metsch, which is accessible via ski bus from Adelboden.

Overall, Engstligenalp is the 80th most popular snowboard & freeride destination of all 80 snowboarding resorts in Switzerland.
