North of Grand Rapids and west of Cadillac, the Caberfae Peaks Resort has 34 runs served by 4 lifts that accesses a maximum vertical descent of 485 feet. Snowboarders know Caberfae Peaks for exceptional lift-accessed backcountry terrain and the highest lift-served peaks in Michigan.
For the freestyle snowboarders in your crew, Caberfae has two terrain parks to session. The Cammy Park is located on Cruiser and has two table top jumps. The Jibbers Park is located on Shelter and has a range of boxes and rails.
After a long day of snowboarding the backcountry or sessioning the parks, the best shot for apres ski action is at Beaties Bar at the base area. They also have a pretty good breakfast to start the day as well.
Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort is about 90 miles to the north of Grand Rapids and is located at 1 Caberfae Lane in Cadillac. To reach the ski area from the southeast (Detroit), head north on US75 to US10. Head west on US10 to SR115. Continue west on SR115 and then turn west at light in Cadillac on SR55 for 12.5 miles. Turn right heading north at the entrace sign for the resort and continue 2.5 miles to the parking area.
