Southeast of Geneva, the Villars-Gryon ski area has 20 pistes served by 11 lifts accessing a maximum descent of 750m. Most of the slopes are south facing that need plenty of snow base.
Northeast of Martigny and northwest of Sierre, the Crans-Montana ski area has 50 pistes totaling 142km that are served by 24 lifts with a maximum descent of 1,400m. Most of the pistes are above treeline offering scenic vistas of the high alps to the south.
Southeast of Zurich and northwest of Landquart, the Toggenburg ski area has 60km of pistes served by 17 lifts with a maximum descent of 1300m. It is known for long challenging pistes and several off-piste ski routes.
Southeast of Geneva and Martigny, the Vicheres-Liddes Ski Area has 11 pistes totalling 15km that are served by 4 lifts with a maximum descent of 667m. The Vicheres-Liddes ski area is known as a family-oriented resort with mainly beginner and intermediate pistes.
Southeast of Zurich and south of St Gallen near Wasserauen, the Skigebiet Ebenalp Horn has 10 pistes totalling 13km that are served by 4 lifts with a maximum descent of 550m. It is well known for an exceptional seasonal snowpack, but you'll need to be good at drag lifts to really enjoy it.
Southeast of Geneva and south of Martigny, the La Fouly ski area has 3 lifts accessing thirteen pistes totaling 20km with a maximum vertical drop of 800m. There are two nice off-piste routes down from the summit, Les Melezes and Les Luis.
South of Bern and south of Sion, the Evolene Ski Area has 8 pistes totaling 40km spread that are served by 4 lifts accessing a maximum descent of 1,276m. Below the mid-station, there are mostly beginner pistes.
